Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, located near Kuching in Sarawak, Malaysia, is a renowned conservation facility dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of orangutans. Set within a lush rainforest, the centre provides a sanctuary for orphaned and rescued orangutans, offering them a chance to learn essential survival skills and eventually return to the wild. Visitors can observe these remarkable primates during their feeding sessions, where they come into the open to receive supplemental food, providing an excellent opportunity to witness their natural behaviors up close. In addition to orangutans, the centre is involved in broader conservation efforts and educational programs, making it a key destination for wildlife enthusiasts and those interested in environmental preservation.
