Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, located near Kuching in Sarawak, Malaysia, is a renowned conservation facility dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of orangutans. Set within a lush rainforest, the centre provides a sanctuary for orphaned and rescued orangutans, offering them a chance to learn essential survival skills and eventually return to the wild. Visitors can observe these remarkable primates during their feeding sessions, where they come into the open to receive supplemental food, providing an excellent opportunity to witness their natural behaviors up close. Morning Option

0800hrs: Pickup from Hotel and proceed for 40 minutes journey to Semenggoh Nature Reserve.
0840hrs: Upon arrival, proceed to feeding area for ranger’s briefing.
0900hrs: Feeding session begins for 1 hour. Note that the sighting of orangutan is not guaranteed as they are semi-wild.
1000hrs: After feeding session ended, return
to the city.
1045hrs: Arrive at Hotel (approximate).

Afternoon Option

1400hrs: Pickup from Hotel and proceed for 40 minutes journey to Semenggoh Nature
Reserve.
1440hrs: Upon arrival, proceed to feeding area for ranger’s briefing.
1500hrs: Feeding session begins for 1 hour. Note that the sighting of orangutan is not
guaranteed as they are semi-wild.
1600hrs: After feeding session ended, return to the city.
1645hrs: Arrive at Hotel (approximate).
