A Kinabatangan River trip offers an immersive experience in Borneo’s wildlife and rainforest. Arrive and settle into your riverside lodge, then embark on an afternoon river cruise to spot wildlife such as proboscis monkeys and pygmy elephants. Start the next day with an early morning river cruise, followed by a jungle trek or wetland visit. After lunch and relaxation, enjoy another river cruise or night safari. Conclude your adventure with a final morning cruise or walk before departing, leaving with unforgettable memories of Borneo’s rich biodiversity.

Day 1 - Sandakan Airport or Town / Kinabatangan River / Night Walk (D)

Pick up at Sandakan Airport or Sandakan Town, schedule transfer at 1230hrs to Nature Lodge Kinabatangan. (approx 2 hrs drive)
1500hrs : Arrival at Kampung Bilit Jetty & take a short boat transfer to the lodge for check in followed by briefing.
1600hrs : Late afternoon along the Kinabatangan River in search of wildlife.
1800hrs : Back to lodge, freshen up & Dinner at lodge.
2000hrs : Guided night walk in search of nocturnal animals.
2045hrs : Free and leisure and Overnight

Day 2 - Kinabatangan River / Jungle Walk / Night Walk (B/L/D)

0530hrs : Wake up and get ready for morning activity.
0600hrs : Morning River cruise along the Kinabatangan River
0730hrs : Back to lodge, Breakfast at restaurant.
0900hrs : Jungle Walk along the river bank.
1000hrs : Back to lodge.
1200hrs : Lunch at restaurant & Free at own leisure
1600hrs : Late afternoon along the Kinabatangan River in search of wildlife.
1800hrs : Back to lodge, freshen up & Dinner at lodge
2000hrs : Guided night walk in search of nocturnal animals
2045hrs : Free and leisure and Overnight

Day 3 - Morning Cruise / Sandakan Airport or Town hotel (B)

0530hrs : Wake up and get ready for morning activity.
0600hrs : Morning River cruise along the Kinabatangan River
0730hrs : Back to lodge, Breakfast at restaurant.
0830hrs : Check out lodge & take your short boat transfer to Kg. Bilit Jetty. Arrival at Kg.Bilit Jetty and overland transfer to Sandakan Airport /
Town hotel. (Approx 2hrs)
