This 2D1N trip to Bengoh Valley offers a peaceful escape into Sarawak’s lush highlands. The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kuching to Bengoh Dam, followed by a short boat ride across the lake. A 30-minute hike leads to the serene hilltop village of Kampung Sting, where guests can relax and enjoy panoramic views before settling into a basic homestay and enjoying a local dinner. On Day 2, after waking up to a beautiful sunrise, the adventure continues with a jungle trek to the stunning Kling Waterfall for a refreshing dip and a picnic lunch. The journey then continues to the equally picturesque Susung Waterfall before heading back to the jetty for the return trip to the city. This trip blends light adventure, cultural immersion, and natural beauty — perfect for a short but memorable getaway.

Day 1

1230hrs: Pickup from Hotel and proceed for 1 hour 15 minutes journey to Bengoh Dam.

1345hrs: Arrive at Bengoh Dam. Proceed for 15 minutes boat ride across the lake.

1400hrs: Arrive at the bank and begin a 30 minutes hike up towards Kampung Sting.

1430hrs: Arrive at Kampung Sting. Rest and relax.

1830hrs: Dinner is served.

Basic accommodation at the homestay

Day 2

Wake up to the scenic sun rise. Breakfast is served.

0930hrs: Begin trekking for 1 hour towards the Kling Waterfall. Upon arrival at the waterfall, have a cold dip and enjoy the scenery while your picnic lunch is prepared. After lunch, proceed to the picturesque Susung Waterfall.

1330hrs: Trek back towards the receiving jetty and return boat ride across the lake.

  • 1600hrs: Arrive back in the city (approximate).
